OK, so the Highbury Barn Tavern is a gay friendly pub with an obviously gay manager who for some unknown reason cannot help himself making homophobic jokes, which are far from funny. Claiming to have a wife somewhere in Russia who no one has ever seen, the implication is that he is straight, where in my opinion that is a far stretch of his imagination, but that's his issue and should be made the problem of his customers.<br br/>This is a pity, as a gay bar it is a good pick up joint and a little ruined by the behaviour of the manager. The food is alright, if not overpriced and the staff take the lead of the manager's attitude. It's not a place I'll be visiting again in a hurry.

has been using cees for many years and never had a bad meal. the healed goats, tears and feasts, fried chicken and festivals are simply amazing. it would be better if they were delivered.

for lunch we were invited to sen nim, a Japanese restaurant in islington, and we couldn't wait because it's another chance to try our favourite kitchen. we came to an empty restaurant at 12:30 a.m., but as we were part of a group, that was not important. in the did it enabled us to get the best places right in front of the cooking demonstration area.
